CranioSacral Therapy is a gentle way of working with the body using light touch.

During a session…

I take a written case history, listening with care to the reasons for your visit. This part of the session is important, both for gathering information and to establish a good understanding with you about your expectations and hopes for the sessions. The session is then performed lying on my treatment couch fully clothed whilst I make light contact with your head, the base of your spine, and other areas, encouraging your body to relax and make the changes needed. Depending on your needs that day, I also combine reflexology and sound healing within the sessions, using them to enable your body to release and heal. Every session will be different, because you are different every time you come to see me. Sometimes more talking is required, sometimes silence is required. The key is that we listen to you, your body, mind and spirit, and the needs that you bring in the moment.

Prices: 1st Session 1.5hrs £60

subsequent sessions 1hr £45 or 1.5hrs £60

After a session…

It is best to try and rest, sleep if possible, and drink plenty of water. With CranioSacral Therapy, there is usually a short period of adjustment and the healing process can take a couple of days to complete. I am always available for clients to contact with any questions after my sessions. Sometimes people report relief after only one or two sessions, for long-standing problems further sessions may be needed. Some people find they benefit from regular treatment over an extended period of time and say that as well as noticing improvement in their physical or emotional symptoms, they feel that they have more awareness of their own needs and strengths, and their quality of life has improved.
