“The Ego trusts that we are separate and go through life alone. The Soul trusts that we are all connected and thus never really alone. The Universe trusts that the Ego will get lonely and listen to the Soul.” Rebecca Campbell

CranioSacral Therapy is…

a full body treatment which supports your body’s innate ability to balance, restore and heal itself. People may come for CranioSacral Therapy because they have acute physical problems like headaches or bad backs, or long-standing problems both physical and emotional. Others come because they are curious, or for ongoing support in their busy lives and for help to meet life’s challenges.

Because it is so gentle and non-invasive, CranioSacral Therapy is suitable for everyone from newborns to the elderly. Mothers and babies often come for problems associated with difficult or traumatic births. Letting go of tension and fear held within the body, enables both Mother and Baby to settle into calmness.

Making a commitment to managing your stress…

Stress is unavoidable in today’s busy world and our bodies are designed to manage a certain amount of this stimulation. Sometimes though, we can become overwhelmed and unable to cope with life’s demands. Extended periods of stress can start to produce symptoms which have an impact on our day to day life and ultimately may lead to illness.

CranioSacral Therapy is a natural way of helping our bodies to rest and recover. CranioSacral Therapy is unique in its ability to treat the source of symptoms on every level, whether mental, physical or emotional.

“CranioSacral work combines sensitive hands-on bodywork with meditative use of the inner eye and inner ear…a supremely gentle approach, it is a way of doing non-doing. It honours both the analytic understanding of how things happen and the intuitive perception of how things really are.” Hugh Milne

Reflexology is…

a therapeutic modality whereby the practitioner uses a firm pressure to work specific reflex points on the feet. It is based on the belief that different points on the feet, lower leg, hands, face or ears correspond with different areas of the body. Congestion or tension in the foot is mirrored in the corresponding part of the body. Its use can improve circulation and lymph flow, cleanse the body of impurities and revitalise energy, thereby encouraging the body to naturally restore its own healthy balance.

Reflexology works well as a treatment on its own, or combined within a CranioSacral session.

Sound Healing is…

the process in which music is used to improve your health, working on vibrational levels within the body to release areas that are blocked or restricted. I use a large 38” Earth Gong in my sound healing sessions, it has a deep resonance that helps to connect to nature, dealing with aspects of tension and loneliness. Working with intention within a CranioSacral session, the gong can bring relaxation, balance renewal and alignment.

Sound Healing works well as a treatment on its own, or combined within a CranioSacral session.

About me…

My name is Anna, and after 10 years of experience, my focus is now on helping my clients to find their own inner resources to help them on the road to healing. I use all my experience during sessions, both learned and intuitive - using a variety of physical and energetic techniques to help people to release and heal. Even though no longer a practising massage therapist, I continue to use many effective techniques I have learned throughout my studies.

I have diplomas in: CranioSacral Therapy with Thomas Attlee at the College of CranioSacral Therapy in London; Reflexology Level 3; Sound Healing Levels I and II with Mark Swan; Reiki III Master Qualification (Western Lineage); Level 5 Sports and Remedial Massage; Level 3 Anatomy and Physiology.

I take my continuing professional development seriously, and every year I undertake 2 - 3 courses updating my knowledge, and learning new techniques to help my clients.

Practising Yoga and Meditation for the past 16 years and Pilates for the past 7 years has enabled me to bring into my sessions much of what I have learned through the Yogic and Pilates traditions, offering advice on stretches and exercises where necessary and helpful. Breath-work also informs a large aspect of my work - educating my clients on using the breath as an internal and meditative process to release restrictions and allow a deeper state of awareness.

I was born and raised in New Zealand, moving to the UK at the age of 10. I am a wife and mother of 3 children and, and have recently acquired two young dogs (for my sins!) I am part of a choir and enjoy group work, meditation and climbing mountains.

CranioSacral Therapy, Reflexology and Sound Healing are not intended as primary healthcare, but to work alongside the relationship you have with your doctor.
